Since we moved into a considerably smaller place, we had to put several pieces of furniture in storage :(  My favorite was my farmhouse kitchen table re-purposed into my desk/craft station.  But we did purchase a much smaller desk from Craigslist for $20.

Apparently, I paint everything that will sit still long enough, because my husband immediately asked if I planned to paint it as he drug it in the house.  Of course, I did!  I used this pic found on Bryn Alexandra’s blog as an inspiration.

I mixed my own paint, so I wasn’t able to get the shade as light…but I think it’s a wonderful mistake!  (*Note* It doesn’t look as bright in person, but I’m currently limited to taking pics on my mac’s webcam)

  It has enough space for me to store all of my magazines, catalogs, paint supplies, etc.  And I even repainted an old cork board to post my inspirational pics (and currently a yoga schedule) ! 

It’s my little corner… (most of the time) and I love it!
