I found this desk at the dumpster a week before we moved out of our old place…

And armed with my favorite shade of Glidden paint (Almost Aqua)…

I endured the heat and humidity, and painted on our balcony.

But it was worth it to transform that shabby little desk into this subtle beauty!

The best part…it was another very cheap project!

Cost:

1.The KNOBS are large aqua faux crystals made for shower curtain hooks that we don’t use any more. 

2. And the PAINT was less than $10!  And there’s plenty leftover for more projects!

It was my present to Peyton for her first day of school.  So now my little kindergartner has her very own desk!
